The teeth have a carbide tip soldered to a heat treated base - they can be resharpened 4 to 8 times depending on damage from hitting rocks or hard objects.
Depending on the size of the stumps and amount of rocks you hit will determine the amount of stumps you can grind. It is not uncommon to grind 50 x 250mm diameter stumps per set.
