This chain has a carbide insert welded to the cutting edge of the saw chain. The carbide insert allows it to stay sharp up to 4 times longer than standard semi-chisel chain, which makes it great for abrasive conditions like cutting treated poles, paper rolls, railroad sleepers, demolition work, frozen logs and sawing in sand impregnated bark. This chain also has reduced kickback and low vibration features.
Please note that there is no warranty on this chain, and this type of carbide will break and chip if impacted by hard objects.
